Will the main swimming pool be open on an Alaska cruise in September ? I know it's covered and heated We will be on the eurodam

If by "open" you mean will you be able to use it, the answer is yes. If you mean will they keep the roof open, probably not, unless you get a warm day.

Yes I meant open to use. I find water very relaxing and enjoy lounging in a pool

Assume the Lido pool is heated. Does anyone know to what degree temperature?

 

I am a sissy about pool or ocean water temperature. 84 degrees or higher for me.

I was on Celebrity Infinity Hubbard Glacier cruise from 9/11-18 and people were using the pools.

All the ships we have been on in Alaska had the pools open.

 

And there were some very hardy people using the aft pool.

The main pool and hot tubs are open most of the time, but could close for a time when the waters get very rough. It happened to the cruise I was on last month.

Whenever I watch the ship's information TV channel, there was always a scroll promoting the pool temp as 81 degrees F. I doubt a crew member would be checking it during the day so there must be a temp regulator set to that 81 degrees.

When we were in Alaska on the Amsterdam, the Lido pool had the roof open, closed or partially opened depending on the weather. We had warm weather in Sitka and Ketchikan and enjoyed the aft Sea View pool.
