Hi All

Just a question regarding OBC.We have casino cash(not sure if actual cash from the cage or credit on our account.I have read both on here) stockholder credit and Princess OBC from booking.

My question is will this come off in any certain order from our account and can we pay anything with these like our tips ?

Is it better to just download all the money to my card at the casino and play as I usually do then cash everything out at the end (if any is left over)

Thanks :)

OBC is posted as credits to your on board account. Check your account at the kiosk after you board and you will see them there. All on board spending including the hotel charge (auto-tip), is posted to your account as it occurs, and you have a running net balance. The on board accounting system uses non refundable OBC first then refundable. It is a simple debit/credit system. You don't specifically designate how certain OBC is used.

Not exactly sure how casino cash works as I never gamble.

Also, any OBC that comes from your TA is refundable.

OBC that comes from the T.A. may or may not be refundable. It depends on how the T.A. 'purchases' the OBC. If the OBC is part of a group amenities credit then it is not refundable. Other T.A. 'purchased' OBC may be refundable.

I have gotten conflicting info on this, so thought I would check to see if anyone has had this exact situation.

We are doing a B2B on the Ruby Princess in April, 2017. We have separate booking numbers on the 2 cruises, which were booked at the same time. We have OBC on both cruises in the form of non-refundabe OBC.

The big question! If we do not use all of the OBC on the first cruise, will it carry over to the second? Or conversely, if we have an onboard chrge after the first cruise, will it simply be moved to the second cruise, where the OBC for that one can be used to pay for it, with one bill from Princess at the end of both cruises? Or will Princess bill each cruise separately?

Hopefully one of the experts on CC can definitively answer.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Stan

Your on board account credit or debit balances for the first segment, will carry forward to your accounts for the second cruise. Any OBC for the second cruise will also be added at the start of the second cruise. At the end of both cruises your credit card will be charged.
