Rare MicCanberra Posted October 22, 2016 #26 Share Posted October 22, 2016 Norovirus is contact and droplet infection... good to hear they are cleaning walls etc Sent from my SM-G900F using Forums mobile app Welcome to Cruise critic. The best precautions is to keep your hands clean and never put them near or in your mouth and that includes eating anything with your hands (i.e bread rolls, pizza, burgers, chips, etc). Porky55 Posted October 24, 2016 #27 Share Posted October 24, 2016 Hi nanaof2 Hope the norovirus didn't effect you or yours on this cruise. Right off topic here - how did you find the mattresses on Radiance as I have been reading some terrible reports about the hardness of them. Planning on the cruise from B2B from Vancouver / Honolulu / Sydney next September - good bed would be appreciated. SeaDog-46 Posted October 27, 2016 #28 Share Posted October 27, 2016 Most wipes & cleaning agents are ineffective against Norovirus. A chemical called Benzalkonium Chloride has shown it is effective in lab tests. Look for in ingredients on Wet Ones wipes & Hands First antibacterial sanitiser. Hands First is available online & made in South Australia.
