Flatbush Flyer Posted October 21, 2016 #27 Share Posted October 21, 2016 I love a Cosmopolitan (basically, a "designer" martini) made with Absolut Citron vodka, Cointreau (not triple sec), a splash of cranberry , and a lemon twist (or small wedge of lime ). Definitely a drink to sip, not gulp!!! Enjoy!:D Decent drink though your recipe needs some lime juice. But, please don't refer to it as a "martini." sjde Posted October 25, 2016 #28 Share Posted October 25, 2016 Any rum punch-like drink, fruity dacquiris, Old-Fashioneds ( with whiskey or brandy, Angostura bitters, and I like mine sweet with Sprite)

Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted October 28, 2016 #31 Share Posted October 28, 2016 I love a Cosmopolitan (basically, a "designer" martini) made with Absolut Citron vodka, Cointreau (not triple sec), a splash of cranberry , and a lemon twist (or small wedge of lime ). Definitely a drink to sip, not gulp!!! Enjoy!:D A nice variation on this is a Violetta which uses Blue Curacao instead of Cointreau. It is a lovely pale violet colour, unless they use white cranberry juice in which case it's bright blue. Another variation is a Pomegranate Martini - which has Pomegranate Liqueur instead of Cointreau. It's a little more tart than a Cosmopolitan This is my favourite pre-dinner cocktail. After dinner I like Benedictine, straight up.
dmrrn73 Posted October 28, 2016 #32 Share Posted October 28, 2016 I love frozen drinks like Mudslides and Daiquiris but my fave is a variation on the Pina Colada, a BBC. It's a Pina Colada with Baileys and banana, yum! I also like Chambord so I look for drinks on the menus with that in it Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Forums mobile app
