Bringing our own shade to GSC

We have our own beach tent that we use for shade whenever we go to free beaches when we are on cruises. Are we allowed to use this on Great Stirrup Cay?

Sure. As long as it folds down and can easily be carried. You need to tender to/from the island.

 

The island offers little shade. I always recommend a cabana or clamshell with vent. The sun is brutal.

I actually found lots of shade if you are willing to go past the main beach. Lots of pockets of trees in the area by the cabanas and by the lagoon.

The only time we were there, we rented a clam shell. It shaded us fine and saved us from lugging extras.

Of course. That's why they are there and NCL wants the money. But that wasn't what she was asking. She has her own and wants to save money and is willing to bring hers if it's not prohibited. I think it's smart of her to ask to see if anyone knows, before packing it with her only to find out that NCL won't allow it because they want you to rent theirs.
