terratrac Posted November 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Me, I personally love sea days. It's a forced relaxation day where you can do as little or as much as you would like to do. I love sleeping in, getting brunch, consuming alcohol, laying out by the pool and attending different events. What does your sea day look like? mishka422 Posted November 8, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Up a little later than usual, sea day brunch, hopefully find a spot on Serenity for a couple of hours, trivia, a little casino time, tea time, nap before dinner. coevan Posted November 8, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2016 love, love, love sea days, definitely start with a room service wake up knock with coffee, juice, fruit, and danish on the balcony. A later Sea Day Brunch, not to be missed. Sun, pool, serenity deck, drink, read, and maybe a few events.

cb at sea Posted November 8, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 8, 2016 I don't mind sea days and the "enforced" relaxation...although, I can "relax" almost anytime I want to at home... The only downside is the crowds! Port days are MUCH nicer on the ship, when over half of the passengers leave!

Jl154 Posted November 8, 2016 #10 Share Posted November 8, 2016 My sea day consists of waking up to see the sunrise, consuming alcohol and occupying a deck chair above the lido deck. I can listen to the music and watch the events on the stage. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
lasvegascruising Posted November 8, 2016 #11 Share Posted November 8, 2016 I love the first sea day. We hit one of the hot tubs first thing in the morning. I love being one of the first guests out on the pool deck in the fresh, clean hot tub. So fun staring out at the blue ocean and just watching guests come alive on the first sea day of everyone's cruise. Relax for a little bit and then decide on what we should have for food, breakfast or lunch.

Mike & Julie Posted November 8, 2016 #13 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Staying up late the night before and sleeping in but not too late, like eating breakfast in main dinning room. Taking a midday nap out on the balcony just listening to the waves slap against the ship. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

We have 6 sea days with just 4 ports on the Nov 16 Vista. Sea Day brunch, exploring the ship, doing the ropes course and/or the sky rider, reading, snoozing, late dining, casino and comedy club, with some playing around interspersed somewhere in the day. MsMot Posted November 8, 2016 #15 Share Posted November 8, 2016 I love sea days too, especially when they fall at the end of the cruise! I got cheated out of my last sea day returning from the Mexican Rivera. It was a little chilly when we first went up on the Serenity deck. I figured it would warm up by the time we went to grab some breakfast. When we returned to the deck, the ship had sailed into a thick fog bank. So thick that the Captain kept sounding the horn in case there was other ships in the area. It was quite eerie. It was a couple of hours before the fog lifted, but it never warmed up. Some people were wrapped up in blankets on the Serenity.
