mandymac Posted November 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Is anybody else with me? I think most of us would agree that the price of cruise when it has the drinks package is inflated, correct? Well in my opinion i think if the second person is a child they should get the refresh drinks package not just the soda package after all if there is another adult in the cabin they would get the premium package.. :)

sbrayr Posted November 8, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2016 It's a total ripoff that both persons in the cabin have to pay for drink packages equally whether it's an add-on or included in an inflated price. cb at sea Posted November 8, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 8, 2016 On RCI, both passengers do NOT have to buy a package. Whether the price is "inflated" or not....you don't need to buy it, if you don't want to! You can certainly buy anything without having a "package"... Clarea Posted November 8, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 8, 2016 It's a total ripoff that both persons in the cabin have to pay for drink packages equally whether it's an add-on or included in an inflated price. If you are purchasing a drink package as an add-on (not included with the cruise fare), there is no requirement that all guests in the stateroom have to buy a package. But those are all-inclusive packages on Celebrity and the 'Go Big' gives you a choice of one perk. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but you can pick another perk and then purchase the drink package separately for one person. If you pick Best, then I agree but it's included in your cruise fare. mandymac Posted November 8, 2016 Author #12 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Hi i dont mean the purchased drinks package I mean the one that they say is free but when they stop offering the price of the cruise goes down, therefore it feels like if there are two adults in a cabin they are getting a far better deal ie price of a soda package $8.99 per day versus $56 a day.
