How can you find out if your shipboard credit has been posted to your account? Is there a place on the HAL site you can check and see?

If you booked directly with HAL you can see it on the make/view payment page on your booking. If you used a TA you need to verify it with them.

And, once on board, a day or two after sailing, ask the Front Office to print a copy of your statement to insure that it actually is posted onto your account.

 

If you have any paperwork that shows what the onboard credit should be, bring it with you in case there is any dispute about it when you are on the ship.

Since we book through a TA, all shipboard that we are due will not show up on HAL's site.

So our TA makes a list of what we are getting and from whom and sends us a copy. I make extra copies to take with me.

About day 2 of the cruise I get a copy of our shipboard account -- many ships now have kiosks where you can run off your own account. If I don't see the shipboard credits -- I see our concierge and get things straightened out. Most people will go to the front desk.

Our TA gave us each $25 shipboard credit and it does show up when I look at the itinerary.

My TA sends me the HAL Guest Booking Confirmation page which has everything listed including the OBC so then I know HAL knows.
