I'm thinking of having a special birthday dinner on our balcony. Last I looked, a year or 2 ago, it was $100. Can we select our meal? If inclement weather....do they move it in the room? Has anyone done it?

Yes, if weather is inclement, they'll do it inside. Lots of reviews of doing.g the balcony dinner on Royal class ships, just do a quick search for Ultimate Balcony Dinner. I believe it's $150 nowadays....could be wrong....two waiters, flowers, dinner, picture, cocktail...

thank you so much for your info. I will do that search as you requested.

I think it will make the birthday a very memorable one!

I did it on the 10/27-11/6 cruise on the Regal--it's still $100. Very nice, they'll move it inside if the weather's bad. A little tighter because of the balcony size, but the UBD is worth every penny.

Thank you so much!!! Were you able to alter the menu in any way?

What is the length of the dinner?

Should I assume 2 hours since the dinner times are two hours apart?

Can you request the time the photographer to come?

We have a front facing balcony so I do not think it would work after dark but wanted to time it for a sunset photo :-)

You can make it as long as you want.

Just let the servers know.

Tell the RS supervisor when you discuss the meals when you want the photographer
