No - Terrace Cafe & Waves only.

MDR is sometimes open for lunch only to passengers in transit, AFAIK.

And if you are on a B2B, you will receive a special invitation to dine in the MDR on turnaround day and you need to RSVP.

After a round the British Isles cruise earlier this year on Marina, those of us doing B2B were lucky enough to be invited to a special lunch in Jacques. Very nice indeed!

It would have to be nice indeed! As much as I love the food aboard O ships, there are very few cities, in which O does embarkment/disembarkment, where I wouldn't prefer being off the ship and visiting the local area. Seeing the sights, eating the local cuisine, and enjoying the day ashore. Most of those cities, we end up staying extra days at (pre and post cruise). As much as I like O food, I wouldn't miss a day ashore for another meal on the ship. For some, the ship is the destination, for others the ports are the destinations! Each can enjoy what they most prefer! Choices! :D

 

Of course, I feel the same way on embarkment day. I prefer to continue sightseeing in the port that day and enjoying local cuisine for lunch, before heading to the ship around 3:00 p.m.. Avoid the mad rush to get to the ship, the moment it opens up and having to deal with the carry on luggage until the room is ready. I'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy O's wonderful food, after the ship departs!;)
