Can I cancel my shore excursion?

I booked a shore excursion with NCL, and later realized that it was not a good choice. My cruise is not until February. Is it possible to cancel my reservation and get a refund or credit?

Shore excursion tours can be cancelled prior to the start of the sailing by contacting a Shore Excursion Agent at 1.866.625.1167.

You can cancel by calling the shoreex reservation number (866-625-1167). your credit card will be credited for the cost of the excursion.

You can, of course, wait till you are on board and cancel then. Provided you give 48 hours notice.

Some tours are in refundable. Our tickets for the jet skis on the private island said non refundable. We had no idea when we purchased them!

That's ridiculous

 

It's their private island they can refund you 48 hours before unless you aren't telling us the entire story...

 

Did you try to cancel that morning perhaps?

 

 

Were you late to the assigned time and they didn't have a jet ski left for you?

 

Of course they are refundable. Just not refundable if you just change your mind at the last minute

 

Fwiw...and everyone will now get all bent out of shape....

 

This is why it is in the pax favor to utilize our rights in removing dsc

 

Yes yes the dishwasher will suffer..not...but it is the main way we can get restitution from Ncl when they are being unreasonable

 

Case in point...a pax was misled by shorex on our last cruise...big time

 

I overheard the discussion/argument they had with shorex and IMHO the pax was correct

 

The pax was sitting near me later and I asked how it turned out

 

He said he removed $78 from his dsc

 

Why? Because he DID NOT get the service shorex promised him and shorex would not refund his money.

 

Yes this was after the excursion but that makes sense because how could he know this before the excursion nor does it matter what others on the same excursion thought of the excursion

 

Nor does it matter to any of us if this pax was right or wrong in his expectation of the excursion

 

He was unhappy with the excursion coupled with shorex shabby treatment of him (I witnessed this)

 

 

If it calms any of you down...the pax was a frequent Ncl cruiser and he told me he had never reduced dsc before but was so disgusted with how he was misled that he had no qualms in doing so

 

Removing/reducing dsc was his only leverage and he utilized it
