Jinek Bay in Lifou marine pass Celebrity Solstice

Just wondering how the system works on Celebrity Solstice and when/where we should go to ensure we get one of the 100 passes?

As far as I know the only cruise lines that offer that as an excursion are P&O and Carnival. I haven't been there on Celebrity but on Royal Caribbean and Princess there was no pre-booking. You wandered over to Jinek Bay and took your chances - both times I had no problems getting in the morning session even though we didn't rush off the ship. However it really depends on how many people on your cruise are aware of how good Jinek Bay is. My advice is to get off early and go straight over there.

 

It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk there. Go up the hill to the main road and turn left. When you reach a fork in the road go right, down the hill to Jinek Bay. You pay there and get a piece of coloured wool tied around your wrist - I guess they keep track of people that way.
