Dining on Vista ??

Was reading an article about the Vista and it said that the Reflection dining room (midship ) is used for traditional dining and that the Horizon dining room ( aft ) is used for anytime. Anyone know if this was correct or a mistake. All the ships we have been on , the aft dining room has been for traditional since it is larger. Thanks....:)

That is correct, I thought it was a mistake when we saw our assignment in the Reflection MDR, especially with us having a cabin more aft than mid ship.

The Reflection also boasts the largest table in the fleet, a round 20 seater. We were assigned to it and I requested a smaller table immediately. It was hard enough to see the people on the other side of the table, let alone hear them.

Another couple took our place from the 2nd night, so what we didn't like was liked by others. And yes, there was one large tablecloth on it for elegant night.

  • 3 weeks later...

Horizons Upper is also used for seated dining. Typically smaller tables, 4 top, and 2 top arranged so that 3 2 tops or 2 2 tops are near enough it;s like sitting ar a 6 top or 4 top. But service isn't dependent upon all 4 or 6 to be seated.

Horizons lower is also used for brunch and sea day lunches.
