hotel to Port Canaveral

We've booked our transportation from MCO to LaQuinta Oceanfront with Cortrans and our return to MCO from the port with them as well. LaQuinta doesn't seem to offer a shuttle to the port so my question is "What's available to get us from the hotel to the port in a timely fashion?". I've never used Uber or Lyft before but was wondering, in addition to these, what other options do we have? Any advice or personal experiences would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!:)

Call you a cab. I'm sure that is what people do if they don't offer the shuttle.

We are staying at doubletree cocoa beach-anyone know if they have a shuttle? I think they do even if there is a charge.

Ask the front desk to call a taxi - they know who is reliable, and the distance is not far so the ride should be cheap.

Cortrans is $25/person to the hotel, $20/person from the port to MCO. They advertise $20/person to/from MCO to the port. It's a different charge to for our arrival since we aren't going directly to the port.

I have reservations @ LaQuinta Oceanfront in July2017. Lorri (manager/front desk) told me that Beach Line Shuttle picks up cruise passengers @ 10:30 and 11:30 everyday for $5pp. You may want to double check.

John, we are booked at Country Inn and Suites at Port Canaveral and have stayed there the last 11 cruises. After reading trip adviser recently, there was a mention of 16 cars getting broken into while they were on the cruise. Have you heard anything about car break-ins at the hotels recently? Thanks.

Uber has been great in both PC and PE for us. We upgrade to Uber XL when moving luggage.

What time would you order one to beat the port rush. I heard they won't let anyone in before 10 so o don't want to be too early but we can board at 10:45(I think we got the second possible boarding window)
