Still enjoying your review. It is bringing back memories. I love Aruba and St. Maarten is my favorite island. I will be going to both on the 14 day Journey Cruise on Feb. 26-March 12. Can't wait until you tell us how you liked your Norwegian cruise.

Day 10 Sea Day

As usual we started our day at the gym followed by brunch in the Horizon Restaurant, I got my usual Steak-n-Eggs and Caramelized Cheesecake

 

Tracy was hungry and got the Griiled Salmon Fillet and an omelette

Afterward we went and met up with Ashley and Curtis at the aft section of the ship to enjoy the little bit of sun poking through the cloud.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We then decided to do the Sky Ride

Well that’s as far as we got, it started raining and they closed the ride. While we were waiting to start someone got stuck, a staff member went out to push them and they also got stuck. There is no traction when the rails are wet. Other staff members threw them a rope and pulled the bikes back in.

For lunch we all went to Bonsai Sushi. We really enjoyed what we had earlier in the week so we got it again, Ashley got the Chicken Noodle Bowl and Curtis got the Beef Noodle Bowl

We attended the Gender Showdown at 8:00 P.M. in the Liquid Lounge. We got there about 25 minutes before the show started to get good seats. The best seating are booths that seat about 5-6. One of the booths appeared to be vacant until we got close and found it had two flip flops spread out on the seat in an attempt to save the booth with no one sitting there. I took the flip flops and placed them on a nearby chair and we sat down. We immediately got thumbs up from several people sitting nearby; obviously they had noticed the flip flops but had hesitated to move them. About 5 minutes before the show started a woman came along, followed by her husband and she gave us a what’s going on look. I told her that we weren’t moving and her husband led her away fuming. We got dirty looks from her the remainder of the evening.
