Newbie to Freedom of the Seas....any hints or tips?

My daughter and I are new to Royal Caribbean, and we are booked on Freedom of the Seas out of Barcelona in the fall. Just wondering if anyone has any hints or tips about FOS or RC :) Thanks!

We have not been on her in a few years but it is a Beautiful ship. I went on my first cruise on the Freedom and took our daughters back a few years later to do their first cruise on the Freedom. My husband and I got married on Grand Cayman while cruising on the Freedom so of course I have a soft spot for her. Tons of stuff to do and plenty of space to just relax. My daughter who was 18 when we were on Freedom found plenty of out of the way spots to sit and read and relax when she wasn't trying out new things. She was 18 so she got to go into the casino and played slots at night with me ( she won a few dollars so that was even more fun). I actually just said to my husband that I want to go back on it again. Right now we have a Liberty cruise booked for this coming August. Maybe I'll book while on board;)

We are sailing October 5th on Freedom. Will you be on that date? Btw I enjoyed this lovely ship years ago when it was the largest!

Do not miss the ice show, Barcelona is a great city to visit hope you have some time before cruise, Barcelona day tours has some great tours of the city

That's our plan :) we're taking a shorter cruise to give us a few days in Barcelona - wow! It sure looks like an interesting city :)
