Transportation to Port Canaveral

Hi all

 

we are spending a few days at Universal Orlando before going on a 4 night cruise out of Port Canaveral. (Carnival)

 

I am looking for a reasonable service to get us to the port and the back to the airport after our cruise.

 

My husband does not like to drive in heavy traffic and he doesn't like to stress about getting a rental car so we prefer for our own sanity to use a shuttle or car service.

If you look down the board there are a couple mentioned. Cortrans is probably most mentioned.

Cocoa Beach Shuttle and Travelynx are two more options to check - not sure if they will pick up out near Universal, you may need to cab back to MCO which seems like a hassle. :(

 

I would also check out private transport from Executive VIP -- after you see the price your husband may reconsider and agree to use a rental to get to PC (it is an easy 1+ hour drive ;))

We had very good service with Cortrans for our Carnival Magic cruise in December, I would give them a good recommendation, although I haven't tried any of the others so I cannot comment on them.

Neither does my husband, but we didn't find any heavy traffic...and getting and dropping off the rental car was relatively painless especially with Avis. The drive from Orlando to Cocoa Beach is very very easy...one straight line with a few tolls.
