Hobby airport to Texas City or Galvaston

We're finalizing transfer/hotel plans. We're booked at the Drury Inn near Hobby airport. All of the estimates to get to Galvaston port are a bit pricey.

 

Does anyone have information on any reasonable hotels in Texas City or Galvaston that include transfer to their hotel from the airport upon arrival?

Have you looked at shuttle service with Galveston limo or Galveston express? Their prices were not to bad when I was looking into it.

I'm actually asking if there are any reasonable hotels that pick you up at the airport and transport you to the hotel. If so, and the prices are reasonable, I'll cancel my Drury reservation, and rebook somewhere else to save money, time, and the convenience of being a bit closer to port.

 

I was thinking if I do change hotels, I'll use Getme....

I personally haven't seen any hotels that offer that especially with the airport and the port being about a hr or more away. You might have to hire a company or do uber.

I have no information related to your topic, but I would guess that none of the hotels in Galveston offer hotel shuttle service -- the distance is just a bit too far for that.

The only hotels that have a shuttle between Hobby and the hotel are those near the airport. Texas City and Galveston are way too far away to make that feasible. So, it's going to be stay near the airport and pay to get to Galveston. Or pay to get to Galveston and stay at a hotel there that has a shuttle to the port.
