Britannia Inside Cabins

A lot depends on what you are looking for in terms of if you get sea sick or can you walk miles without problem. The ends of Britannia seem favoured due to access issues centrally lifts/stairs.

The larger sized insides are on A, B, & C decks if you want spacious cabin. If you booked one of these you may be more likely to get a free upgrade. Close to infrastructure, dining etc. will be the G deck cabins. Alternatively A deck cabins are handy access for pools and Crow's Nest. B deck gives cabins near Launderette, handy to shoot in and iron a top or shirt. I would avoid the cabins arranged along length of ship as opposed to across like most other cabins, don't know why. If you want the cheapest price it's likely to be "Minimum Grade Guarantee - Inside Cabin" and a lucky dip where they put you.

We had a standard inside on C deck (C522), PB grade, slightly aft of midships, and found it hard to beat in terms of location. No noise, close to midships lifts, laundrette further down the corridor (but far enough way to not be a problem) and not too far to walk to aft lifts and stairs.

Easy to get up to the buffet and pool deck, and down to restaurants and atrium area.

Despite booking Select we didn't pick it, it was given to us as a guarantee cabin, but we were very happy with it. It was adequate for two of us; if we'd been sharing with our children as in the past I think we'd have found it cramped.
