Taking Soda on to the ship

Neither my wife or I drink Coke products - she prefers Diet Pepsi and I like Mugs Root Beer and Diet 7 up.

 

Question is - How much soda can I take on board before Princess will say enough is enough? Thinking about taking 24 -24oz. bottles of Diet Pepsi and Root Beer. Do I need to put bottles in a seperate suit case or can I just carry the soda on board?

We took a 12 pack of soda and some wine in our carryon. You can also buy soda in port and bring it onto the ship.

We have always taken 2 12 packs in our 22" rolling suitcase-we carry it on without any problems.

We pack our bottled water/Pepsi in a plastic crate, slap a Princess sticker on it with our cabin number, make sure the whole thing is taped up. Then we give to a porter at the luggage check in area. Have not had a problem yet.

I have walked on with a case of soda, no problems, and no I don't hide it in luggage. :)
