Curleegirl Posted February 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2017 Which cruise lines have the longest amount of time tendered or docked? I'd like to take advantage of excursions and eating some great seafood. Ideally my itinerary will be at least 7 nights and ending in Vancouver, B.C., Seattle or San Francisco. Thanks. Rare Coral Posted February 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2017 My 7 night RT cruises out of Vancouver and Seattle have had the least amount of time in port compared to my one way cruises. I think it is because of getting back to Vancouver and Seattle (and SFO has odd times in ports on the cruises I have looked at). The HAL 14 night RT Seattle cruise has great times in ports but it is 14 days so they are not rushing: http://www.hollandamerica.com/details?webItineraryIdForAudit=A7L14Y&fromSearchVacation=true&guestsCount=2&voyageCode=A722&selectedMeta=Interior&shipId=AM
zqvol Posted February 4, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2017 A one way Seward to Vancouver on ether Regent, or Silversea will have the longest port times.

xlxo Posted February 4, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2017 Not a cruise line.... but the AK ferry will offer the longest port time..... you can stay at each port several days if you choose. http://www.dot.state.ak.us/amhs/schedules.shtml It also allows you explore ports where cruise ships won't be stopping. donaldsc Posted February 7, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 7, 2017 Alaska Marine Highways. In some cases, if you get off the Ferry at a town, the next ferry does not come along for a couple of days. That is my kind of cruise. None of those 1 day town stays. Also, you decide how long you want to stay in a place instead of a desk jockey in Seattle or some other town. XLXO - great minds think alike. DON
