hi again :) . When the NCL Spirit docks at ports of call, how much time do we have to wait till we can disembark please? I m particularly referring to the port of Rhodes. We are going on our own (and not on a ship excursion) Thank you

As long as the ship docks, rather than tenders then you should be able to get off very soon after arriving. They need to wait for clearance and then people can start leaving.

If the arrival is during the day, rather than early morning then there may be a queue, but in the Spirit this will only hold you up a few minutes.

Often the ship actually arrives a little before the advertised time.

The time listed for the various ports on your cruise itinerary, is actually the time NCL is expecting the ship to be cleared by local port authorities (they usually arrive at the port earlier than listed). Just be aware that sometimes there might be delays for some reason, and the arrival and/or clearance of ship would take a little longer than normal. Passengers are not allowed to leave the ship before it has been cleared by local authorities.

We were on the Spirit a couple of weeks ago. Itinerary was Casablanca and the Canary Islands. The only port we had to wait to disembark was Casablanca. Morocco had to clear every one thru their customs (we didn't have to do anything for this as the ship already had everyone's passport info etc.). Hope that helps [emoji3]
