Kent, thank you so much for doing this live review from the Ruby Princess. We are following along vicariously with you and your wife. I love seeing your great photos and following your journey.

My wife's grand-niece is one of the Princess dancers in the theater on this Mexican, and later Alaskan itinerary. We will be boarding Ruby Princess in Vancouver on May 5th to catch up with her.

If you get a chance we would love to see some photos of the dancers in the production shows. I know Princess frown on video recording of the shows and maybe even still photos, but I have seen others take photos, as long as flash is not used and is not annoying other passengers.

Thank you, and continue to enjoy the rest of your cruise.

Hi Everyone sorry for the delay in posting more. The departure out of LA had some rough seas. I've never gotten seasick on any of my previous cruises but my wife and I were definitely out of commission last night. We had salads at dinner and couldn't even touch our main dinner course.

Anyways the weather is better and we've benefited from 11 hours of sleep.

west coast cruiser -

Any comments or tips on the cruise, ship, ports, or excursions for those of us who will be on the same cruise later?

We

We did the Sea of Cortez, La Paz and Loretto, Stopped at Cabo and then down to Puerto Vallarta.

If I go back to Loretto I will take an excursion and see more of it. We just walked through the little port town. At Cabo we had lunch at The Office, it is right on the beach. Good food and Great Margaritas. In Puerto Vallarta a stroll down the Malacon is nice. Great Quacamole at Senor Frogs.:)
