sunset785 Posted February 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2017 Does anyone have any suggestions for any cruise tours on the Sunshine for Aruba? We want any island tour and the beach. Only one outside vendor has contacted me back so I'm looking at Carnival tours with ample beach time. We will have a 2 and 5 year old with us. Any suggestions? cb at sea Posted February 19, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2017 Let me just say, 2 hours in that hot Aruba sun will be MORE than sufficient "beach time"...and I'm a "beach" person...the sun is so strong, especially with your little ones...you will want to limit their exposure. Even under an umbrella, they will be getting lots of sun!
TheBubbs Posted February 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2017 We did an all inclusive resort, riu palace I think. It was awesome.
Micahs Grandad Posted February 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Go off the ship find a taxi driver for tour and have him drop you off at a beach.
Rare jimbo5544 Posted February 20, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 20, 2017 We did a sunset tour (very close to where the ship is docked) and ended up be one of our top ten of all time. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Krissfon Posted February 20, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 20, 2017 When we went to Aruba we had heard how amazing the water is there and wanted to go to the beach but when we actually docked and felt the sun I knew there was no way I'd last any length of time in the sun and water. I'm pretty fair but my husband isn't so it didn't bother him as much. What we did instead was book with carnival a tour to a butterfly refuge and an aloe farm. I don't know if they still offer it but I would think young kids would enjoy seeing so many butterflies :) Whatever you decide you'll have a nice time. The island is beautiful, like a desert in the middle of an ocean.
Crusin Hogs Posted February 20, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Trikes Aruba one of the best tours we have ever done in 10 cruises http://www.trikes-aruba.com/
LewLewBelle Posted February 21, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 21, 2017 We did the Best of Aruba and beach tour through Carnival. It was Nice but chairs were not included those cost us $15 for 2 chairs. We didn't get an umbrella because only 2 hrs of beach time. Also get Bullfrog suntan lotion.... NO BURNS ever and I am fair skinned.
RecoveryDude Posted February 21, 2017 #10 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Trikes Aruba one of the best tours we have ever done in 10 cruises http://www.trikes-aruba.com/ Just checked it out ... was it "the best" because it was fun riding the 3 wheel thing? I will be in Aruba in 2 months and I'm considering this tour now that you mentioned it to me. Not too much info on their site, can you tell me more about what you saw and what stops you made? Any info you can provide is helpful cause it's kinda pricey at $190 (we would both want our own vehicles)
