Love Bermuda. Lots to see and do, or do nothing at all and just lounge on the ship. Going again in May. They have a small zoo, caves, many beaches...the people are the nicest I've ever met also. Public Transportation is easy as well.

We LOVE Bermuda and have cruised there over 20 times over the past 30 or so years. Never tire of it. Plenty to see and do as well as just enjoy the ship and on board amenities. We'll usually spend one day aboard. Haven't booked it yet, but pretty sure we're going to take the "Veendam" out of Boston this year. We really like docking in Hamilton and now that's one of the few ships that's small enough to. Check out the "Bermuda" thread. Lots of info on what to see/do there.

We did this type of cruise on the NCL Breakaway last spring. We were docked at King's Wharf for about 3.5 days - it was great! On the first day there, many cruisers got off the ship with their golf clubs and checked into golf resorts on the other side of the island so they could get on the course early the next morning. Unfortunately, we had rainy weather, so the shore excursions we had planned were all cancelled, so instead, we got a taxi driver to take us on a tour of the island. It rained intermittently, but we were able to see a lot of Bermuda and really enjoyed it. We will definitely go back someday.
