Marina

Just found out the marina will not be in use on our Amazon and Caribbean cruise and it makes me wonder on what percentage of cruises it is actually used?

We have only seen it used once and that was on the Spirit in the med.

That's a bummer, was hoping it would be used, that's a real shame... :(

Quest has had no more marina since it was converted for Antarctica and Greenland sailings. The entire area is now permanent storage for zodiacs, boot lockers and other equipment. If you book Quest, you will have no marina days. It has been like that for 4 years.

I've taken several Caribbean cruises on the O class ships, including one on Quest before the conversion. The marina was not used on any of those cruises.

I've only seen it used in the Med although I believe it is still used sometimes in the Caribbean (not on Quest though as explained in the post above).

We will be on odyssey for the Holiday cruise in the Caribbean for 20 days - hopefully it will be used then - if not used there - where else??

As i said , i wonder how many times a year it is used, i bet Seabourn will not answer that :D

On mySeabourn cruises, the only time the marina was used was on the Spirit in the Med. Just off the Windstar Star Breeze (formerly Spirit) - and the Marina was open and used.

We were just on a 15 dat Caribbean cruise...no marina....bummer. Been on Seabourn twice and both times no marina.

I don't know. I've taken 3 Holiday cruises in the Caribbean and as I said earlier, I've never seen the marina used there.

We did have two Caviar in the Surf parties on one of the holiday cruises a few years ago which for me made up for the lack of marina!:)

If you can list your ports perhaps others may chime in if they've been there and had a marina day.

I have just returned from a 27 day Caribbean cruise on the Odyssey and no marina. However we had a fabulous beach day with marina "toys" and caviar in the surf. I have only had one marina day, on the Sojourn, about 3 years ago in the Med.
