Does Celebrity still have grand buffets/galas?

They did away with the Grand Midnight Buffet years ago.

The closest you will find is a larger-than-normal buffet at lunch, generally on the last sea day. Chocolate fountains, cotton candy machines, carving stations, mobs of people who apparently haven't had anything to eat on the preceding days of the cruise??.:D

Assuming you are talking about the Ocean View cafe, I've never noticed a larger buffet on the last sea day or day of a cruise. I'll have to pay more attention. And don't they always have something at the carving station each day of the week. Cotton candy...seriously? I could go for that! :)

 

Celebrity used to have a brunch gala in the MDR, on a sea day. It replaced the midnight buffet. But I don't recall mention of the buffet in the last few cruises.
