Transfer to a Travel Agent?

Hello everyone and thank you for all the awesome advice. We are celebrating our 20th anniversary with our 4th HAL cruise in June, a 24-day Mediterranean Adventure on the Westerdam. We chose an Aft Neptune last May, so we've been excited for a year! I booked thru HAL, but I'm seeing so much about transferring to a TA to get a better deal, I was wondering about the pros and cons? I know that I can transfer up until I make my final payment (which is coming soon) and how HAL does it, I've even called an internet TA I've worked with before and they said they can save me some $, but I am worried because they can't tell me how much because they can't see "my suite" (obviously because it's not open). If I switch, can I still buy packages from the HAL online store? Sorry for the long post, any advice greatly appreciated!

Are the aft neptune suites sold out on your cruise? As long as the TA can see another cabin in your class (SB or SC), there should be no reason why they cannot tell you "how much".
