cruise on May 13th for two weeks on Crown Princess. We are in Genoa on the sunday and can not find anything to do. They only offer the Cinque Terre or Portofino which we have already been to. I would be pleased if anyone has any suggestions.

We have been to Genoa also on a Sunday. All stores were closed. There was a hop-on hop-off bus and we just went strolling in a plaza where there was a Catholic church and some vendors around. We didn't venture walking far from the bus station. You may be better off getting the shore excursion.

We are planning a visit to Genoa just to see the sights there in Genoa. The Cathedral is beautiful, all black and white, and there's a cemetery famous for its monumental sculpture. You can see photos of both by googling "Genoa Cathedral" and "Genoa cemetery"
