Question regarding 14 day Epic from Port Canaveral

Recommended Posts

We booked a 14 day that does an Eastern/Western Caribbean itinerary, and we realized after doing so that they also offered the individual 7 day for both "sides" as a booking. My question is, is this really an organized B2B and should we expect a repeat of activities (obviously not excursions offered) and menus for the second week? It's not a big deal either way, but it will help with planning. Thanks!

You will have to exit the ship on disembarkation day for the first leg. You will receive instructions, usually you need to gather with all the other B2B'rs in a lounge and get escorted off the ship and wait about 20 mins and get back on.

As for menus, they are on an 11 day rotation so you will repeat, but not very often. As to the activities that is up to the Cruise Director.....

For the most part, same Theater shows, same activities (maybe on different days based on port schedule), same entertainment, same activities, same food (as answered above, the MDR rotates menus, so you will get some duplicates there). Specialty dining never changes menus.

We did a 14 day b2b on the Epic in Nov. Since ports are different, you will of course have different excursions. You will receive a letter in your cabin telling you where to meet and what time for transition. We met at Headliners at 10 am., no one showed up until 10:30 though.

Our menus were exactly the same both weeks.

Entertainment was the same except we had different comedians.

If you want to see the Beatles, I would recommend going to see them on embarkation night in the main theater either week one or week 2. It is hard getting a seat to see them in the Cavern Club.

The first week O'Sheehans had Prime Rib as a special twice, the second week, only once. If you like prime rib, try it out, was awesome! Their ribs were excellent also.

Thanks! It's sort of weird that we would have to go thru the B2B exercise since it was booked as a 14 day cruise, but it's all good. I didn't realize that they were also selling the 7 day legs individually until I went into our vacation summary and tried to book a shore excursion for Port Canaveral on day 7 and found nothing was offered, LOL! Naturally, it would have been better if it been ONLY a 14 day cruise because things would have changed up a bit, but the upside is that we have twice the opportunity to make sure that we see the entertainment that we're interested in.
