Royal Princess at sea

On Saturday, March 11th, as the Regal Princess was sailing past the Bahamas, we passed the Royal Princess on it's way south. We just happened to be walking around and stepped out onto the Promenade and there she was! Shortly after, the Captain made a general announcement to tell everyone it was there. The Regal crew sounded the Love Boat theme twice but the Royal didn't respond.

We were on the Royal back in November and the horn tooted the Love Boat Theme each time we left a port, except for one (which had something to do with honoring a noise pollution request.) If they were too close to that particular island, it could be for that reason the horn was not played in return.

The OP says they were at sea.
