wripro Posted March 22, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2017 Personally, I think the title of this article is absurd. 98% of people who regularly sail on luxury lines know 100% of their so called secrets.
zqvol Posted March 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Personally, I think the title of this article is absurd. 98% of people who regularly sail on luxury lines know 100% of their so called secrets. I think that it would be more accurate to say that they know 150% of these so called secrets, and in fact know the real secrets that th article doesn't begin to touch on. wripro Posted March 23, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Most of these articles are fluff pieces anyway with a host of misinformation.
Travelcat2 Posted April 3, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 3, 2017 I found many of the tips to be interesting and right on point. However, when you mix true all-inclusive luxury lines with premium or premium plus, it skews the entire article. For instance, you can not order something special on Oceania (premium plus) while you can order anything that you wish 24 hours in advance on Regent (their luxury sister company). Azamara does not carry the level of "included" alcohol as luxury lines do (specifically Crystal, Regent, Seabourn and Silversea). I probably could write an article on the differences between the four major luxury cruise lines used by North American travelers vs. Oceania, Viking, Azamara, etc.
