Anthem: Bringing on case of bottled water

Hello, I just wanted to get a consensus of the best way to get our case of bottled water on to the Anthem this coming Sunday, as I've seen different recommendations for attempting it. I know that technically it's prohibited but am going to try anyway. For leaving from Port Liberty, should we put a luggage tag on the case of water or should we put the case in a piece of luggage? Thank you.

The best way is to put it in your carry on. Hopefully you have one on wheels

You will need to put in in your carry on...and lug it around until you're cabin is ready. Easier to bring a refillable bottle...and just make use of the ship's water, if you need to take it ashore. Water is available EVERYWHERE....there's really no need for a case of water.

I have a rolling carry on that a case of water fits perfect on top.

 

Just roll it on.

I thought I saw somewhere that someone brought a case of soda onto the anthem leaving out of Bayonne. They just put a room tag on the case and it was delivered to their room??

We usually just put a room tag on it. I thought I read somewhere in the last few months that they are now allowing water anyway.

My wife carried on 6 bottles of Bai tea last week. They never even looked at them to see if they were sealed.

We dropped off a case with a luggage tag on it with the porters, no problem at all. Delivered to the room. We noticed several people also were leaving cases of soda with porters, luggage tag attached.
