Fascination Upgrade offer, should I take it? Verandah Inside V8 to Ocean View E169

They are offering me this upgrade for only $70 total for the cruise. I was sure it was gonna be $70 per night, but not the case. Can't seem to find the square footage. I was happy with Verandah deck as it's something different for us being at the front of the ship (observation deck right outside our cabin). But it also has the third bed that's on the floor. The Empress deck has a pullman bed which would be better since my kids are older.

 

Any opinions?

 

ETA: Looks like maybe this new cabin is below the galley, which could be noisy. But we won't be in the room until sleep time for the most part. Also lots of ports. Not sure what to do here.

Galley noise becomes a problem early in the morning, when they start rolling carts around.

 

With the inside, you can configure the beds like this

You can configure the beds in an L in this cabin, notice the light under the bunk on the wall...It is intended for when the the bed is there. EM

Thanks a ton for the pics! That bed looks fine on the inside. I've heard we may get a lower bed that's stored under another bed. I forget but they had 2 different names for them. In any case I just read a bunch of reviews from different ships and they all are giving stern warning against staying under the galley. I think I'll keep the room we have. The square footage is the same and it's on a better deck.

I personally like the insides on the Verandah deck. It's a great location. If you have a 3rd person, it will all depend on how much that 3rd person will mind getting down to the trundle bed. I would totally arrange them like the picture above, that's what we did.

I was thinking about this and I'll take the trundle if the kids decide to fight about it. I've slept in worse places. :)
