Sea and Me Posted April 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2017 DH and I are considering a B2B. He'd like to go but on different ships, different line. To those that have done different ships how hard is it to go from one to another. We are "mature" citizens and would we have help with luggage etc? Is it too much of a hassle or is it better to stay on the same ship different itineraries?? Thanks for your answers.
bouhunter Posted April 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2017 Taxi from one pier to next. You'd be in charge of your luggage regardless of whether or not it was the same cruiseline. MUCH easier and more pleasant to stay on the same ship.
Clarea Posted April 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2017 We prefer the same ship to avoid packing and unpacking again. However, if you don't mind the packing/unpacking, changing ships at a cruise port like Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale would be a short taxi ride. vrock Posted April 5, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2017 We did a s2s in december allure and freedom for the first time. It was pretty easy but we can handle our own luggage. Could you get a porter to help you get your luggage to the taxi?
