When i get off boat at port, what all do i need to get back on boat? Just SS card?

Please be sure to have your photo ID with you, especially if you're getting off in the Bahamas. My friend left her driver's license on the ship, and she got a SEVERE dressing down from the Bahamian security officer because she did not have a photo ID with her. We almost didn't make it through security!

To get back on the ship all you need is the sign and sail card.

To get back on the pier you usually need a photo ID. Local port authorities determine what you need to get on the pier, not Carnival. Every cruise I have been on they have repeatedly said to take a photo ID off the ship with you. As DoctorDi said, it can be difficult without proper ID.
