ckrobyn Posted May 11, 2017 Author #426 Share Posted May 11, 2017 You are pulling away from the pier. See? This is what I'm talking about! I'm sitting at the Park Cafe enjoying this and there is no way I could have known we are sailing! Everyone should have their own, personal, human GPS like I do [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ocean Boy Posted May 11, 2017 #427 Share Posted May 11, 2017 Starting to make your way through the channel now. Most likely will make a turn to port at the end and sail west along the north coast of Puerto Rico.
ckrobyn Posted May 11, 2017 Author #428 Share Posted May 11, 2017 That critter isn't a real lobster anyway. Yah I know.... I grew up in Nova Scotia so I know a "real" lobster when I see one.... but still, lobster night is a kind of tradition onboard isn't it? ckrobyn Posted May 11, 2017 Author #429 Share Posted May 11, 2017 Well that's a surprise! I thought it was night 6 on the Eastern. But I guess it works out better for this itinerary since San Juan has an early all onboard today versus Labadee tomorrow. Glad to see the great weather you've been having (aside from the humidity which was something like 77 according to the weather channel). ~ Judy It's definitely tonight. I just asked at Giovanni's if they could bring me a lobster since they are serving it in the MDR and apparently that's not a problem [emoji16] The weather has really been perfect. Today was a touch too hot for me though... and with the pools being warm.... uuuugh lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In fact that's what you are on every ship I'm on. ckrobyn Posted May 11, 2017 Author #436 Share Posted May 11, 2017 So, we know there are "fake" crickets on Central Park at night... but this little guy sitting on the ledge outside Giovanni's is very much alive [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ckrobyn Posted May 11, 2017 Author #437 Share Posted May 11, 2017 I forgot to mention that we were the only ship in St. Maarten yesterday [emoji15] This is a first for me in all my cruises - SXM is typically the busiest port. We were alone in SJ as well, and will be in Labadee tomorrow too. I could get used to this ..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ocean Boy Posted May 11, 2017 #450 Share Posted May 11, 2017 Oh, and you are traveling at 21 kts. on heading 289 (north west) and heading toward the coast of Hispaniola with a planned arrival time of 7:45 AM in Labadee, Haiti. Nearest cruise ship is the Carnival Sunshine sailing up the east coast of the Dominican Republic. No cruise ships even close to visible from Allure.
