UAL_FlyGal Posted September 22, 2018 #51 Share Posted September 22, 2018 I always say that a mini suite should never have the word "suite" in it. Pretty misleading. Its really just a larger cabin. Don't forget about the bathtub!
jagsfan Posted September 22, 2018 #52 Share Posted September 22, 2018 Don't forget about the bathtub! I love the curtain that pulls across so I can go to sleep in a dark room while DH watches TV. And he can lie on a full size sofa to do it. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

pris993 Posted September 23, 2018 #57 Share Posted September 23, 2018 Wellll! That’s bad news. Our next cruise is on Crown! Sent from my iPhone using Forums The Grand has draps that can be pulled closed... so would guess the Crown does too. I closed off the tv area with the sofa when I watch tv so my dh can sleep. jagsfan Posted September 23, 2018 #60 Share Posted September 23, 2018 Full suites have them on all ships. Unfortunately, that won’t help me. Maybe I can pack a clothesline and a couple of blankets and make my own, a la It Happened One Night. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Colo Cruiser Posted September 23, 2018 #61 Share Posted September 23, 2018 Unfortunately, that won’t help me. Maybe I can pack a clothesline and a couple of blankets and make my own, a la It Happened One Night. I have not seen any curtain in any mini suite besides the Royal/Regal/Majestic. I have not heard anything about them being added to any ships. Have seen several comments on CC over the years saying they made and put up their own. Haboob Posted September 24, 2018 #64 Share Posted September 24, 2018 Yes coverage is good all over the ship including staterooms. The new system on the Caribbean Princess last month was lighting fast and coverage was excellent. Its (new system) not on all ships yet though. The "lightning fast" is the new satellite uplinks they're installing. The "excellent coverage" is the wi-fi on board that has long since been installed.
