Central Park rooms

Recommended Posts

They do this for all those rooms automatically no matter whom you book through. I was unaware about it until we got to the room and found the wine & vouchers..

This is so exciting! I got a bunch of great perks already when I booked and this is just an added bonus :) Thank you for the information!

Danak13. Not all rooms only if you book a Central Park Balcony. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.......

Boardwalk balconies get a free soda package per person, a meal for up to 4 people at Johnny Rockets and a lesson on the rock climbing wall.

Central Park balcony rooms are cheaper. If you like a cold room, I found the CP rooms to be warm. My wife won't stay in the CP room again because it was hot. Also, people can see you on the balcony and make sure the curtains are closed when you are in the room. I prefer oceanview balcony, but if you want to save money, a CP room is adequate.

I just booked the Oasis of the Seas and I had a hard time deciding if I wanted an ocean view balcony or a central park balcony.

The ocean won, we chose a balcony room "on the hump" so I'm looking forward to the larger balcony.

I would have enjoyed a central park balcony too, I'm sure, but thought I might miss the ocean too much. And I can always sit in central park itself to people watch. :)

I normally book an ocean view balcony, but decided to book a Boardwalk balcony for the cruise last January. I loved the balcony as we were close to the aft and could see the ocean from our balcony as well as watch the Ocean Aria show. Earlier this month, again on Allure of the Seas, we chose an ocean view balcony. I don't know why, but on this particular ship I totally enjoyed the Boardwalk balcony more than the ocean view balcony.

I am booked again for January on Allure and plan to be in a Boardwalk balcony again. Both times so far, I have been pleased to NOT have booked a Central Park balcony as that area seems so warm due to lack of air circulation. I think it is far more beautiful in the Central Park area, but it was way too hot for me, even in the winter.
