PROCRUISE Posted May 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2017 Paid my balance due today for 8/24/17 Tahiti cruise through my TA. Received my Guest Invoice Copy, from my TA, showing $0 balance due. TA was told that now Windstar just uses E-Docs, like most other large cruise lines, for passengers to print off and that it would NOT contain luggage tags for print off. Windstar representative stated we'd be given luggage tags at ship side. Seems a little strange but wondering if this is true.
sb44 Posted May 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2017 Yes. That's how it works now. Just print your docs and show up. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
wolverineinOH Posted May 22, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2017 agree, we weren't even asked for our documents at the San Juan port in March. They had a passenger manifest at the gate.

Okay then, sounds good. Of course as a graduate of THE Ohio State University, I'm a little suspect of a "wolverineinOH." You also forgot the IO!! LOL :) Hope your March cruise was wonderful too. Pudgesmom Posted May 23, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 23, 2017 Of course it is a good idea to print off your edocs, but it is unlikely they will ask to see anything but your passport. You can just put your own label on your luggage, those aren't necessary either.
MTJtraveller Posted May 23, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 23, 2017 You can also request hard copies of your docs. I always do because they come in a nice zip bag along with luggage tags, not cruise luggage tags but nice tags for your bags. Whatever is your preference. 6rugrats Posted May 23, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 23, 2017 Windstar is not providing the zippered bags and hard copies of your documents anymore. E-docs only.
Redtravel Posted May 23, 2017 #9 Share Posted May 23, 2017 Haven't seen any Windstar package in a long time. Just got email about 10 days before my cruise. When we got on the ship, nobody looked at it. Just present your passports, get a receipt, and get your seapass. Windstar holds passports during the cruise. They are returned on the last day. 6rugrats Posted May 23, 2017 #10 Share Posted May 23, 2017 Yes, the only need I've ever had for the printed documents was to enter the port.
