RMLincoln Posted July 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2017 We will be celebrating a milestone birthday and an anniversary with our next cruise. I'm considering the Renewal of Vows package and would like to understand the PG dinner before I suggest to DH and I know he will ask me how much it all costs.... I've read that we get a PG dinner for two and that we can have this dinner at a time of our choosing during the cruise, not necessarily the night of the ceremony. Will we get credited our Mariner discount after our dinner, as happens with pre-paid reservations or gifted dinners such as from our PCC? I've never had a package deal, so I don't know how this works. This will be the first step... then I'll tackle the issues of packing the suit and his dress shoes  size 14, they weight a ton, but at least I can stuff my sandals inside his to save some room! Thanks all, m--
CruiseShelly Posted July 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2017 Renewal of Vows package far exceeded our expectations! Especially for the price. I believe when we made our PG resevation we told them it was part of the Renewal package. We waited until we were aboard to book the PG.
Rare VMax1700 Posted July 7, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2017 We have done the Renewal of Vows twice and both times it was held on a formal/gala night. For the Pinnacle grill I phoned them and said it was part of a ROV package. There was no problem in picking a date/time that suited us. The Renewal of Vows is still one of most memorable events on our cruises.

Thanks all, m-- I seriously doubt you will get the Mariner Discount, but cannot say for certain. It would be hard for them to do since it is part of a very nice package (IMO). crazytomatoes Posted July 7, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 7, 2017 We renewed our vows on our recent Alaskan cruise and it was fantastic. We were able to pick the date of our PG dinner without any problems. They do a great job and it was very special. Rare kazu Posted July 7, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 7, 2017 In terms of the Mariner discount - no, it does not happen with packages. So the price it is is the price it will be.
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 8, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 8, 2017 The Pinnacle Grill dinner is included in the price of your Renewal of Vows Package -- thus no discount.
