Mobile Passport App

We used this on our last cruise a few months back out of Ft. Lauderdale. I leave again in a few days on another cruise, this time out of Galveston. Can anyone tell me if that port/customs uses the Mobile Passport system?

Still limited to PE. You can check availability within the app - it has become easier since the last app update as they have separated airports and cruise ports.

New thing at PC, no Customs slips required. We were told this stated a week or two ago. Not sure how it effects other ports and the Mobile App.

Port Canaveral, last weekend. I asked our Room Steward as we were in panic mode not having our declaration sheets. He said it went into affect recently. Upon exit, the Customs agent was no longer in their cube, but standing outside. Very polite and just asked us if we had anything to declare. No scanning of Passports. Very quick.

 

I mentioned this to Bella and she confirmed this was new policy at PC. Why Bella didn't tell me in advance should be investigated.

we tried to use this when we cruised allure a month ago and I could not get the app to load that morning...thankfully I had the paper filled out just in case

This may have not been your issue but our experience with Mobile App, if you declare anything, it will not work.

We loved using the Mobile Ap. Used it coming back from Punta Cana at FLL airport. I had everything written down we bought and they barely even looked at it. Cannot wait to use it again in FLL cruise port in Dec. So super easy and saved us so much time
