I leave again in a few days on another cruise, this time out of Galveston. Can anyone tell me if that port/customs uses the Mobile Passport system? I asked our Room Steward as we were in panic mode not having our declaration sheets. He said it went into affect recently. Upon exit, the Customs agent was no longer in their cube, but standing outside. Very polite and just asked us if we had anything to declare. No scanning of Passports. Very quick. I mentioned this to Bella and she confirmed this was new policy at PC. Why Bella didn't tell me in advance should be investigated. I had everything written down we bought and they barely even looked at it. Cannot wait to use it again in FLL cruise port in Dec.
