Jimmym1981 Posted July 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2017 Where is the best spot on the Allure to watch the boat pull away from the pier? The H Pad is my usual go-to, but just wondering if anyone has a secret special place they enjoy as well.
sbussert Posted July 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2017 I have always enjoyed the balcony of our stateroom. Might seem lame, but it's quiet, and there is plenty of time to mingle.

Unfortunately I went for a boardwalk balcony this time. Wanted to save a few $$$ for some specialty dining. But I do agree, the serenity of the balcony is great. Jimmym1981 Posted July 13, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted July 13, 2017 Deck 14 observation deck, above the bridge wings. Awesome! I will give it a shot up there! Thanks!
Jimmym1981 Posted July 13, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted July 13, 2017 the helicopter pad is not an option on Oasis class ships unless you are invited Well that is disappointing. How on earth do you get an invite for that?
Clarea Posted July 13, 2017 #8 Share Posted July 13, 2017 Awesome! I will give it a shot up there! Thanks! You reach it via the deck 14 port side passenger corridor, just walk all the way forward.

The Grumpus Posted July 13, 2017 #11 Share Posted July 13, 2017 I like the Wipeout Bar area. It's all the way aft (deck 16), not a lot of people feel like walking back there so not crowded and there's a big open bar. Rare JamesEM Posted July 14, 2017 #13 Share Posted July 14, 2017 I would check out the jogging track, lots of good viewing spots.
constable145 Posted July 14, 2017 #14 Share Posted July 14, 2017 I would check out the jogging track, lots of good viewing spots. I disagree. While there are some at the very aft end of the ship, anywhere along the side has a view obstructed by lifeboats.
