Susan went to go to the Spa Raffle. She said she was not going to go, and I said you always go, so go. I was hungry, and since our La Cucina reservation was after the lifeboat drill at 9pm. I knew I needed to eat something.

After finishing I headed down to deck 11 forward, and waited till the Spa Raffle got over. Guess what?

She won! $150 in Spa credit. Can we say happy wife, and even happier husband!

We went down to Dazzles and watched the end of Majority Rules.

We arrived at La Cucina for Dinner. They told us they tried calling us to have us come earlier, but we weren't in the room to answer. The result was an empty La Cucina except for us. Private dining - Sweet! Warning: Food Porn!

We woke up and planned out the Day's action. We had a Meet & Greet, a Latitudes party, a VIP party, Captain's Pictures, plus Hubbard Glacier. It was going to be a busy day.

We were moving at a good pace this morning, and you could feel the waves. We were fine without motion sickness pill or patches, though.

I love Main Dining Room breakfast for the choices. When we got the invitation to go to VIP Breakfast I was torn. I didn't know what to expect, and so I was hesitant. Susan suggested we go this first morning, see how it is, and then decide if we wanted to continue going to breakfast there or the MDR. You will notice there are going to be no pictures of me eating at the Garden Cafe. I do not like the atmosphere, and will avoid it like the plague.

i-TTshVGC-L.jpg

Oops, someone forgot to update the Captain on the Invitation for tonight. Its Captain Svedmark not Captain Borg, who got off at Seward.

i-DpFhmbK-L.jpg

We took these so we could remember when the parties were.

We ordered coffee and they brought a huge French Press! French Pressed Coffee is my favorite. I was in heaven here!

i-fq3K9XJ-L.jpg

Susan got some fruit from the spread.

She was more enamored with the tiny jam jars on the table!

I also had to try the Crab Cake Benedict. Someone had to make sure they were safe. Why not me?

Rami (shortened for simplicity sake) was our server the night before here in La Cucina, and again here at Breakfast. We looked forward to seeing her each day, and she was one of 3 vacation hero's for us!

i-kWctrSZ-L.jpg

After Breakfast, we headed back to the stateroom. We had a later breakfast today, due to an exhausting day yesterday. When we were passing through the Atrium both to and from our Stateroom, we watched a little of the fruit carving demonstration.

We went up to deck 6 and walked along the open deck to the aft of the ship.
