eileenfa Posted August 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2017 Hello: I'm going to rent a wheelchair for a cruise I'm going on and trying to decide which to use. Is there only 2 companies? And is one better than the other? Tia Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Norwegian, for one, only allows Special Needs at Sea: "Please note that Special Needs at Sea is the exclusive supplier for Norwegian Cruise Line and other vendors will not have access to Norwegian ships." Boozebabe Posted August 9, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 9, 2017 Have you thought of buying a wheelchair and bringing it with you on cruise? Sent from my iPhone using Forums Agreed and it may be cheaper to do that and then you always have it.
Seashoregal Posted August 9, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 9, 2017 Home Depot has reasonably priced wheelchairs. You could have it delivered to your home or local store for pick up. I had looked into having one delivered to the store so I could see if I liked it or just return it there. I decided to rent a scooter instead for my upcoming trip, so I could drive myself.
