theriac Posted August 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2017 So I'm heading out on the Getaway in 51 days and I'm curious if I can use my OBC now to select the Cirque show. I just don't know what to use this $325 on once on board but I also don't want the show to be sold out. whatever will bewilder me
Rare KeithJenner Posted August 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2017 No, you can't use OBC for things you book, and need paying for, in advance. When you reserve Cirque online you will need to pay for it at that time.

What about tips. $325 won't cover half of your trip. Why wouldn't you use for that?
Rare BirdTravels Posted August 17, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 17, 2017 On board credit can only be used on board. If you are concerned about getting the shows and times, book them as soon as you embark. Seats are held for onboard bookings, so all times should be available when you board. Only refundable obc can be used for the DSC tips. Non-refundable obc cannot be used for that. All obc can be used for drinks, shore excursions, specialty restaurants, photos, Bingo, casino tournaments, ship store shopping

phissy Posted August 18, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 18, 2017 We use our Non Refundable On Board credit for tips to room steward and butler and concierge. We go to desk and have credit vouchers made out to their names. Give copy to respective staff. This is not applied to our account for DSC. Daily Service Charge. Can be used for bar drinks, shopping speciality restaurants etc.
theriac Posted August 18, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted August 18, 2017 DSC has been prepaid, have specialty dining package already, excursions have all been booked privately, already have internet, and I don't need an overpriced Invicta watch. I guess I'll just roll the dice and hope a spot is still available for the Cirque show and buy a case of water on board. With NCLs prices that's about half of it anyway. whatever will bewilder me
Quilting_Cruiser Posted August 18, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 18, 2017 I guess I'll just roll the dice and hope a spot is still available for the Cirque show and buy a case of water on board. You're not rolling the dice if you book when you board. They don't make all seats available to prebook, so just book it when you board and you'll be fine. :D Have fun! Also does anyone know if NCL offers any kind of luggage express/valet service? I'll be disembarking in Copenhagen if that matters. whatever will bewilder me
