Sunny AZ Girl Posted September 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2017 I have tried several times to enter the information for OBC on our upcoming Freedom Cruise on October 22. Every time I try I get the message that the sail date is not in the right format dd/mm/yyyy. I keep putting it in correctly, but it just keeps kicking it back. I have never had this problem redeeming points before. Has anyone else had this problem lately? The sailing is in 6 weeks. I will probably have to call the redemption desk on Tuesday. Sunny AZ Girl Posted September 4, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted September 4, 2017 (edited) Are you sure it isn't dd/mm/yyyy? Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk That is what I was wondering, but the message was for the other format. I admit that I didn't try it that way. Edit - tried the other format and it still doesn't work. I will call tomorrow. Thanks. Edited September 4, 2017 by Sunny AZ Girl

Sunny AZ Girl Posted September 4, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted September 4, 2017 I would never have even tried it your way As stated above, I tried it several times exactly as the message told me, then tried it the other way. No difference It didn't work. I will call the redemption center after the holiday weekend and let them figure it out.

dschultz56 Posted September 5, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 5, 2017 I just did a redemption and originally put in yyyy and I got an error that it was just yy. Worked when I corrected it.

Silly me, I thought that the directions they gave with the error message would be correct ones.
ranchette Posted September 5, 2017 #11 Share Posted September 5, 2017 How far in advance of your cruise should you redeem points for OBC?
Clarea Posted September 5, 2017 #12 Share Posted September 5, 2017 How far in advance of your cruise should you redeem points for OBC? I like to redeem at least two weeks before the cruise so there's time to call in case there is a problem.
