vacation cruiser Posted September 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Has anyone booked any tours through the Visit Cairns web site this company? We are looking at a tour in Yorkey's Knob.
Aus Traveller Posted September 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Where does the tour go? There isn't much to see in Yorkeys Knob itself.
Rare mr walker Posted September 7, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2017 We booked thru Visit Cairns website on our port stop in March (Sun Princess). We did a harbour cruise in the afternoon, which was really good. We booked on-line and were charged a 20% deposit & received vouchers promptly by email. We paid the balance on the day directly to the tour operator (Cairns Harbour Cruises) at the marina. Very professional.
NSWP Posted September 7, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2017 Has anyone booked any tours through the Visit Cairns web site this company? We are looking at a tour in Yorkey's Knob. Yorkeys Knob is just the landing point near Cairns for tenders from cruise ships. Nothing much there, a yacht club and store, from memory. Yacht Club is good for a cool drink instead of waiting in line too long in the heat for the return tenders. Tour buses depart from near the landing point also some taxis normally there. Above all, enjoy.
