What is provided in your cabin

There is shampoo and body wash only. And quite frankly neither are very good and very drying on skin and hair. Always bring my own.

Blow dryer is dependent upon the ship you cruise on. Carnival's website will tell you which ships have what you are looking for.

I've been on the paradise three times in the last three years. I've ALWAYS had a dryer in my room. That's odd

It has been my experience that the hair dryers that are provided are not very powerful and take forever to dry my thick hair. I always bring my own. There is no conditioner in the room and I bring my own shampoo. I do like the body wash.

I agree they are not that great. I bought a nice small travel size hair dryer years ago that packs easily and it was pretty inexpensive, and it is as just about as powerful as my full size one - and way better than any I have seen on the cruise ships and most hotels.

This is coming from someone with a super thick head of long hair lol!

The hair dryer works fine for my long fine hair, but my daughter takes her own, as she has rather thick long hair. Every ship I've been on has had hair dryers in the drawer of the desk. Our Elation cabin was an interior, and it had one back in 2004. I bring my own shampoo & conditioner for color-treated hair. Only shower gel, shampoo & bar soap is provided.

Hair Dryers are provided on most ships. They are also one of the most bacteria laden utensil on board, just under the buffet tongs and the slot machine handles/buttons levels of contamination.

I am intrigued by your assertion. What is the source of your information?

I've heard people that are concerned about germs talk of taking lysol wipes on vacation. I've never done it, but apparently some do. I always thought it was the tv remotes that had the most germs. I never even thought of the hair dryer. Fortunately I haven't contracted any weird virus or bacteria so far.

I always use hand sanitizer in the casino, before and after playing the slots. I even put some on the re-spin or max hit button before losing my shirt.

Thank you for the advice I was hoping I didn’t have to bring my blow dryer but I think I will. Actually I have a travel one so it’s not that large. Yes I’m going to bring my own shampoo and conditioner. Great advice again thank you
